The courses originally designed by the late Bill Thompson and Jamie Innes run mainly over old turf, undulating and flat and are separately graded for Pre-Novice, Novice and Intermediate. Large timber and natural features predominate. Further improvements and changes will be made this year. The organisers treat the suitability of the going as their first priority and ensure that steps appropriate to weather conditions are taken accordingly.

A new Intro course was constructed for 2003. Fences solidly built with large timber make this an attractive and inviting course for young horses and less experienced riders.
